Membership

Membership in the Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association is open to all individuals interested in the missions of the organization- to enhance and promote the genetic improvement of beef cattle. Active members are entitled to participate in the activities of the organization, including consigning bulls to the state tests and sales. Members will receive regular communications from the organization regarding educational opportunities and other activities related to beef cattle production. Virginia BCIA members may also join the Virginia Cattlemen's Association at a reduced rate.

Virginia BCIA is an active organization and the following highlights our primary activities:

• BULL TESTS AND SALES -- The organization coordinates and manages three test groups and two sales on two test locations (Culpeper and Southwest Virginia). These bulls are consigned by BCIA members from Virginia and surrounding states.
  
  
• EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS -- Virginia BCIA conducts and supports educational programming in the area of beef cattle genetics and management.
